I traded in my seasons of SVU a little while back and got $105 in store credit. I went back today and used it. I got a box set of all the seasons of Friends, Thelma and Louise, Live Free or Die Hard, and 28 Days. I'd say that's a pretty sweet exchange right there and I definitely don't regret it.

Today my Tragedy professor was on crack. Seriously. He was rambling about Joe Biden and organizing plays and I think I missed the point. But somehow he got to talking about Joe Biden having actors on speed dial to play certain roles and Hollywood movie producers sitting around petting poodles while they discussed plots. • Sandra Bullock is not entertaining Oscar talk. "Shhh!" she says to a reporter who mentions the "O" word. She follows up that comment with "Shhh!" And then for good measure, "Shhh!"
• I ask Bullock about facing and beating Meryl Streep. For a change, she does not shush. "It's a fluke," she insists. "I feel it's wrong. My money was on Meryl."

My friend had a dream last night and I am SO jealous. Apparently she and I were having a sleepover with Meryl Streep who was telling us about her relationship/sex life with Jake Gyllenhaal.
